StarRot is an illustrator and
musician born in the
backyard of the midwest.
Their art journey started in
the third grade after
watching a My Little Pony
parody video and the train
they stumbled onto just kept
rolling. Their work is melancholic and surreal. Using the combined mediums of photography, printmaking, and digital art, they create uncanny landscapes in which to convey subtle emotional ideas and exploration. StarRot has participated in the publication of Botticelli 23 as well as the CCAD Comics Anthology, Spitball XI and XII. They graduated from CCAD in the spring of 2026 with a major in Comics and Narrative Practice and a concentration in Printmaking.
